Triathlon is one of the fastest-growing sports in the United States, and with good reason. Training for one is a great way to strengthen your body, empower your mind, meet new people and HAVE FUN!
A sprint triathlon usually consists of swimming 500 meters, cycling 10 miles and running 3 miles. With the right kind of training, most beginners can prepare for their first tri in just 8-12 weeks. Coach Mary will explain the basics about equipment, clothing, nutrition and training to get you started.
